Job Description



The Benefits Associate Manager is responsible for helping to manage Accentures employee benefits programs and policies for our employees (and former employees participating in our plans). Specific responsibilities include:





+ Ensure plans are administered in accordance with plan documents and legal requirements.



+ Act as Subject Matter Expert for Benefits plans and programs



+ Interpret plan rules and resolve escalated participant inquiries.



+ Oversee the work of our third-party administrator - participate in implementation of plan changes, new programs, and Annual Enrollment set-up; participate in weekly service review meetings.



+ Implementation of plan changes or new benefit programs as needed.



+ Vendor tracking and management, including verification of return on investment.



+ Support of Ventures & Acquisitions process, including due diligence process for potential deals, support to the deal team, benefits presentations, and assisting in transition of new employees onto Accenture plans and programs.



+ Support government compliance activities including reporting and disclosure requirements, benefit filings, notices and communications.







Basic Qualifications:





+ Bachelor's degree



+ Experience in employee benefits management, specifically health and welfare and 401(k) plans



+ Excellent project management skills





Preferred Qualifications:





+ Benefits Certification such as CEBS, CBP, etc.



+ Excel and Powerpoint skills



+ Benefits compliance experience



+ Ventures & Acquisitions experience





Professional Skill Requirements:





+ Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage several projects at once



+ Good written and oral communications skills



+ Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian



+ Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
