Job Description:


Accenture LLP is seeking Oracle Application Support Managers in Atlanta, GA to provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. S/he will perform the following duties: Maintain custom and/or software application code (5%); increase efficiency by optimizing work across one or more clients (10%); coordinate with Development/Release/Operations teams to analyze, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting Oracle eBS application (5%); work with business users on system initiatives with responsibility for maintaining product road maps and detailed project plans (10%); maintain and continually enhance business systems including reporting and analysis capabilities to meet ever-changing business requirements (10%); ensure application is active and operating according to service commitments for assigned deliverables (10%); organize and prioritize work effectively to facilitate resolution of problems and system continuity (10%); ensure application maintenance work is being followed according to quality standard (5%); ensure that primary support toward installation of application releases into production is being provided (5%); assist in monitoring budget by providing estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals for assigned tasks (5%); engage the team on Risk Management and Defect Prevention best practices (5%); work with different stakeholders to gather and interpret user/system requirements into support specifications (10%); anticipate, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting the application (5%); and create operational documentation for the application (5%). Positions are based in Atlanta, GA., but domestic travel to client sites will be required 75% of average work week.







Basic Qualifications:


The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in IT, including the following professional experience: 5 years coordinating technical troubleshooting, including working with the Development/Release/Operations teams to analyze, identify, track and resolve issues and risks affecting Oracle eBS application; 5 years articulating and defining mitigation and prioritization strategies for Oracle eBS application support issues; 5 years maintaining software application code and performing risk assessments to develop response strategies; and 3 years conferring with project personnel to maintain product road maps and project plans, including identifying and resolving problems.
