Job Description



Oracle professionals design, implement and deploy Oracle solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in Oracle applications process design and configuration; Oracle application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and Oracle application technical architecture.



The PeopleSoft Technical Architect will work as a technical lead to install, administer and manage project environments and execute the build plan. The Application Technical Architect's responsibilities include (at a minimum):





+ Guide technical team through the installation and configuration of PeopleSoft environments



+ Develop technical infrastructure design documents and manage them through the approval process



+ Work with technical resources (DBA, Linux Administrator, Network Administrator) to build and configure the production environment



+ Develop and implement the object migration process for the project



+ Testing & applying patches, updates & fixes for PeopleSoft



+ Documentation - Tasks requiring creation of written documents in support of system build, maintenance and operations



+ Environment Support - Implement a support structure for the project environments.



+ Report weekly status





For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications



Qualified candidates will have at least two of the following:





+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in installing, configuring and managing PeopleSoft application on Oracle database



+ Minimum of 3 years' experience administering multiple PeopleSoft instances (i.e., Dev, Test, QA, Prod)



+ Minimum of 3 years' integration broker experience in PeopleSoft



+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in PeopleSoft configuration management and migrations



+ Minimum of 3 years' experience in administering, troubleshooting and monitoring batch scheduling utilities



+ Minimum of 2 years' experience in performance tuning of web server, app server and Process Schedule





Education Requirement:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associates Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.
