Job Description

The FAI Quality Auditor will be responsible for prioritizing, reviewing, and delivering FAI reviews for sustaining parts and development projects. The incumbent will be responsible to perform process, quality, and document assessments as per client instruction flow down for verification of FAI requirements. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to conduct thorough and timely FAI reviews to closure and provide performance metrics to support necessary process improvements. In addition, work with the Team Lead to conduct and drive effective problem solving. The role will require metrics tracking on a continual basis to meet the increasing FAI workload throughout the year.

The position includes, but is not limited to the following skills and experiences:

+ Demonstrates drawing interpretation

+ Demonstrates understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

+ Provide technical quality support

+ Conduct the following reviews: Manufacturing Process, Documents Quality Assurance Reports, FAI per AS9102

+ Upload, track, and close customer required document packages for the suppliers of responsibility

+ Provide database maintenance and provision of weekly updates

Basic Qualifications:

+ Associate degree in Engineering or Science OR minimum of five years inspection related experience in the aerospace or automotive industry

+ Six months of drawing interpretation

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with LEAN or Six Sigma methodologies

+ Six months of technical quality support

Other Qualifications:

+ Self-motivated and high energy individual

+ Highly effective team player with strong communication and decision-making skills.

+ US Citizenship
