The Work:




As Customer behaviors and expectations continue to evolve and digital technologies continue to change the way in which consumers shop and interact, Retailers are challenged to stay current, innovative, and focused on the right strategies, processes, and technology investments to reach their customer. Our Retail clients come to us to connect with Retailing Processes professionals, Merchandising and Planning Professionals, and Cross Retail Consulting professionals to help enable and improve:



+ The processes of planning, merchandising, and selling goods and services across various channels. (Store, E-commerce)


+ Technology Platforms selections and implementations across Merchandise systems (JDA, Oracle, SAP)


+ Industry thought leadership





A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:



+ Lead multi-functional project teams to provide solutions to complex business problems and integrate Accentures capabilities across processes, people and technology to deliver client outcomes and project results.


+ Act as a Subject Matter Advisor within Retail providing thought leadership, insights, and helping to develop Retail POVs and go to Market Strategies and opportunities


+ Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.


+ Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.


+ Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.


+ Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.


+ Manages large teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture.





Travel:


For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Heres What You Need:

+ Minimum of 5 years of retail processes and/or merchandising experience working at an external Consulting firm or on internal projects in the Corporate Retail Industry. Project experience must include retail process design, organization change management, or technology enablement across merchandising, planning, stores, assortment, pricing, supporting retail technologies.

+ Bachelors degree






Bonus points if:

+ MBA degree or equivalent graduate degree

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for the Strategy Senior Manager role is $147,700 - $305,000 and the range of starting pay for the Strategy Manager role is $111,000 - $249,000.
