Application Security professionals
assess, define, implement and/or support world-class security, for Accenture or
our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level transformation
programs.





The **DevSecOps Consultant** assesses, defines,
implements and/or supports DevSecOps programs for Accenture or our clients.
Engagements span from simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level transformation
programs. Collaborate with teams and aid in developing consultative solutions
to help implement client DevSecOps capabilities to enable secure product
development. Conduct methodology and architecture security assessments and
define solutions to produce tailored DevSecOps platforms inclusive of target
state people, process, and technology operating models.




**Job Description**



A professional at this position level within
Accenture has the following responsibilities:




+ Support our clients achieving the benefitsthat DevSecOps can offer

+ Contribute to/participate in design and implementationof DevSecOps platforms which covers areas such as integrating security intobuild automation, deployment automation, test automation, SDLCorchestration, environment management, monitoring, and production releaseprocedures

+ Participate in development of junior DevSecOpsteam members

+ Promote DevSecOps culture in our clients

+ Drive adoption of tools and practices as theclient transitions to DevSecOps

+ Abilityto apply knowledge and experience in a waterfall development lifecyclewhere warranted

+ Experienceand ability to act in a consultative capacity with client personnel inaddition to applying technical skills







**Preferred Skills:**




+ Application development experience

+ Industry recognized certificationin security (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, etc)

+ Enterprise IT security riskassessments and related frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series, COBIT, ITGeneral Controls, etc.)

+ Experience in administration of one or more of thefollowing: Windows, Linux, UNIX

+ Travel 80% - typically Mondaythrough Thursday at client projects

+ Proven success in contributing toa team-oriented environment

+ Proven ability to work creativelyand analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Desire to work in an informationsystems environment

+ Excellent communication (writtenand oral) and interpersonal skills

+ Able to meetrequirements for retaining professional security certifications

+ Demonstrated teamworkand collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian






Qualifications:


**Basic Qualifications**




+ Minimum 3 yearsApplication security experience including proficiency in AppSec concepts suchas those in OWASP top 10, etc.

+ Minimum of 1 of thefollowing:


+ 1 2 yearsexperience in one or more security testing tools, including Static Analysisand/or Dynamic Analysis

+ 1 - 2 yearsexperience working in Agile methodologies and transformations, as well as E2Eunderstanding of the SDLC

+ 1 - 2 yearsexperience in configuration & Continuous integration tools such as Puppet,Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Hudson, Maven, Ant, Git, Sonar


+ Bonus Exposure toone or more of the following:


+ Container technologysuch as Docker, OpenShift

+ Vulnerability andthreat assessment/remediation

+ Governance, reportingand escalation best practices


+ Minimum Bachelordegree, preferred Bachelor of Science in a technical concentration(Engineering, Computer Science, MIS)
