Overview of North America (NA) Marketing + Communications

The North America Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates marketing and communications strategies across the marketing lifecycle that fuel growth for Accentures $20B+ North American market (United States and Canada). Its cross-functional team drives category brand positioning in the North American market, curates end-to-end client experiences to drive the local growth agenda, empowers and positions Accentures leaders, and engages and inspires the companys North American people, recruits and alumni. It positions Accenture in the heart of local innovation, business and technology communities and champions programs for equality, inclusion and diversity within Accenture North America and the communities it serves. Accentures Global Advertising and Social Media team, one global collective of advertising and social media experts located around the world. We partner across the Marketing + Communications organization to embrace a culture of smart, strategic work. The Advertising and Social Media team is part of the Brand team, tasked with producing great creative work from the idea to the execution and implementing paid media and social media campaigns around the world. Were a fully integrated partner across all aspects of social mediawhether strategizing, listening, engaging, creating, publishing, analyzing or activating our people. And we do all this while having funcollaborating, connecting and pushing ourselves creatively across every area of the social space. We are a smart, creative, collaborative team, that has fun and enjoy working together in a truly human way.

We are looking to add

A Social Media lead to guide strategy for our entire social media ecosystem including but not limited to our channels, our leaders, our people, and our paid social media presence.

The role will start from a foundation of strength: significant progress has been made in the last 18 months, yet there is work to do. The social media strategy lead will build on that foundation to define the ambition of what it means to be most admired brand on social media, then lead, day in day out, across every platform we show up around the world.

This role will report directly to the Global Head of Advertising & Social Media and be a key member of the Advertising and Social Media Leadership team.

+ Bubbling with creative ideas, coupled with an innate pragmatic ability to make things happen.

+ The ability to define a north star goal, then being persistent and consistent to drive to it.

+ Embraces a workday that is rarely the same, day to day.

Basic Qualifications:

+ A Bachelors degree

+ Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Social Media Strategy at an agency, social media platform, or Fortune 100 company

+ Out of 10 years, minimum of 5 years paid social experience, with proven hands-on media expertise across key social platforms.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience building and executing global social strategies for large brands or clients

+ Deep understanding of paid social formats and what works best across various channels

+ Experience with Sprinklr is a plus.

Professional Skills:

+ Proficiency in English.

+ Strong business and marketing acumen, that includes managing people.

+ An executive presence, comfortable presenting and interacting with C-Suite members of Accenture.

+ Demonstrated ability to work closely with and direct external suppliers, third party vendors, agencies, and relevant external networks.

+ Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

+ Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $147,744 - $278,500 and information on benefits offered is here.
