Procurement Plus professionals work on projects across a range of commodities and services. They may be involved in Sourcing and Contracting for purchases, Business Process Improvement, Accounts Payable assistance, Supplier Relationship Management, Category Management, or other procurement-related functions. Depending on the role, Procurement Plus professionals may work remotely from home, be based at a one of Accentures U.S. office locations or delivery centers around the world.

You Are:

Accenture is seeking a Sourcing Execution Specialist to provide full, life cycle procurement support of business-driven projects for the Human Resources (Training) spend category. In this capacity, you will have frequent interaction with team members and stakeholders in the execution of projects that help Accenture achieve significant value in the form of improved pricing, quality, delivery, supplier performance and other aspects of total cost. You will gain exposure to all aspects of the sourcing process, including Negotiations and Contracting and expand supplier and customer management skills. You will master project management skills and deepen workplace category-specific knowledge to bring added value to sourcing projects and advance career development. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to deliver significant results.

The Work:

+ Help our stakeholders address urgent and critical business initiatives and projects with strong procurement support.

+ Responsible for performing Supplier Sourcing activities (creating RFxs, using Ariba e-sourcing) and negotiating purchases and contracts for services on behalf of Accenture. Main category responsibility will be for Human Resources - Training services and online/SaaS training tools purchasing projects.

+ Communicate frequently and professionally with stakeholders regarding the status of the procurement aspect of the project including creation of the sourcing strategy, development of the RFP, scorecard, and Statement of Work, and other sourcing and contracting documents.

+ Perform supplier research and identification and perform RFP analyses for both qualitative and quantitative aspects, total cost of ownership analysis, etc.

+ Participate in initiatives aimed at improving productivity and efficiency to support company and account growth.

+ Offer creative solutions to support sourcing projects and achieve desired results.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelors degree

+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or managing suppliers

+ Minimum of 1 year of experience in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices

Preferred Skills:

+ Knowledge of purchasing Training courses and exams, content development services and online training tools/SaaS products as well as other Core Services related services and purchases as assigned.

+ Proficiency with Excel

+ Basic understanding of purchasing applications Ariba and SAP.

+ Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis

+ Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project cycles

+ Excellent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills

+ Strong project management and relationship-building skills

+ Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers

+ Basic knowledge of Training and Core Services (Marketing, Finance, Legal, HR and Facilities) spend categories

+ Knowledge of procurement operations

+ Experience working directly with key stakeholders in business units

+ Experience with e-sourcing tools

Travel Requirements:

+ Ability to travel 5-10% may be required to support client projects or continuing education

+ The ability to work within standard U.S. time zones (EST, CST & PST), required.
