Job Description:

Accenture LLP seeks a Sr. Consultant, Oracle Applications in Los Angeles, CA that participates in projects involving strategy, and Oracle Systems optimization as it relates to financial/accounting systems operations, business processes, security, and data integrity. Work within a team that is responsible for planning, analyzing, creating, designing, testing, and implementing new Oracle-Cloud Based Financial Solutions. Review business processes and advise on solutions available within the Oracle Financials Suite of applications, while identifying and communicating their findings to senior management and client personnel. Gather and organize information on current business processes and procedures, documents findings, and analyzes findings to design Oracle-Cloud financial systems solutions that solve specific business problems related to financial and accounting systems. Prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems and procedures, as well as business process redesign. Confer with business and project management to ensure successful functioning of newly implemented systems or procedures user acceptance testing and training. Consult with clients to determine the role of current financial/accounting systems operations within their business processes. Review, analyze, and evaluate current financial/accounting business systems and processes to establish Oracle Cloud Financials-based unique solutions. Establish user requirements, procedures, and identifies problems in order to automate, improve, or add new functionality to existing financial/accounting systems. Lead cross-department discussions to analyze current processes and financial system requirements and brainstorm solutions. Analyze and document business processes, problem areas, and gaps in current financial systems/processes and recommends corrective action. Participate in design sessions to address gaps (areas not covered) in current system, provide suggestions to improve existing systems and to change/modify current business processes to achieve quantifiable process improvements. Analyze the functionality and features of Oracle Cloud based financial systems to recommend improvements to business alignment and maximize performance that meet clients business goals. Utilize industry-leading best practices for solutions design, business process analysis, and system integration. Take part in testing to ensure that the systems work as expected. Articulate solutions to clients end users, C-level executives, and other stakeholders. Prepare and present updates on projects to DAZ executive management. Provide post-go-live analysis, new system set up, functionality/features and design customizations to ensure the system standard features are working correctly. Create and maintain effective client relationships. Offer strategic business support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Up to 75% domestic travel required; telework permitted.

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in computer science, information systems, business, business administration, accounting, finance, or related, or a bachelor's equivalent, if no bachelor's degree, the employer will accept one (1) additional year of related experience for each year not completed towards the required degree; plus five years of experience as a Computers Systems Analyst, Senior Consultant, or related occupation, including: experience with Oracle Financials; knowledge in Oracle General Ledger (GL), accounts receivable (AR), account payable (AP), generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), fixed asset management (FA), cash management, tax, accounting budgeting, procure-to-pay (PTP), order-to-cash (OTC); experience utilizing industry-leading best practices and participating cross-functional discussions for performing business requirements and process analysis, conceptual and detail solutions design, and system integration; experience performing implementation activities in Oracle Systems such as requirements/process analysis, conceptual and detailed design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and support; knowledge of MS Projects, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
