Functions Marketing & Communications

part of this team, youll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its
strategy. Youll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who
focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising;
global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research;
media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications;
internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and
industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

ROLE: Strategy & Consulting People Communications Account Lead

role works with the Strategy & Consulting (S&C) Executive, and broader
leadership team to develop and execute dynamic communications strategies for
the S&C community partnering to achieve business objectives and
Accentures vision and strategy.

We are looking for a dynamic professional to provide communications counsel to
our senior leaders, act as an influential champion, and advocate for
Accentures common communications messaging, guidelines, branding and
architecture. This person will ensure that messages are communicated
accurately, timely and reinforce both the S&Cs business objectives and
Accentures brand positioning.

In addition,
this strategic role will direct strategy, development and execution of
integrated communications programs to S&C People and the broader network,
functions and industry audiences in partnership with the Services Comms Account
team; oversee the S&C PC account team to deliver strategic content and
message development, production, promotion and measurement; and create communication
programs that include appropriate mix of multiple digital internal and social
media channels, and may include limited print material development.

this role requires extensive collaboration and coordination across the People
Communications account team and the broader M+C working with many partners in
marketing and media relations when communications are for external audiences
such as the media, industry/legal analysts, and other influencers.

role primarily supports the S&C Executive in partnership with the Marketing
and Comms lead for S&C and leads the S&C People Comms Account team.

there is never a typical day at Accenture, here is a list of the responsibilities:

+ Develop and manage global strategic people communications programs that
directly impact S&C leaders and people.

+ Ensure
mission-critical messages communicate accurate, timely, strategically-relevant
information appropriately to target audience.

+ Interpret
strategic direction to help achieve organization goals.

+ Act as
trusted communications advisor for corporate function leader in all things
People Communications, including providing executive communications
supportmessage development, speech writing, coordinating core messaging across
leadership team, etc.

+ Make
decisions that may impact areas outside own area of specialization.

+ Seek
to expand use of internal, supported digital tools to optimize efficiencies
from creation through publishing.

+ Provide
solutions to complex business challenges.

+ Manage
other communicators and contractors to complete deliverables.

+ Responsible
for development and execution of related communications plans as required.

+ Provide
communication guidance and support for meetings, including defining key
messages, organizing meeting agendas, materials and speaker preparation as

+ Design
and execute global S&C communications strategy, including developing,
managing and implementing comprehensive communication programs, campaigns and
channels; setting the communication cadence for 700+ leaders in S&C

+ Own
executive communications for S&C Executive including accurate and effective
leadership announcements, video scripting and production, broadcast events

+ Oversee
content development, creative, production, promotion and measurement for all
programs, campaigns and channels

+ Partner
with S&C M+C lead to design and execute People Communications elements of
brand positioning and other global Marketing campaigns and programs

+ Activate
global Accenture People Comms campaigns within S&C

+ Partner
with Market People Comms leads on programs spanning S&C and the Markets

+ Provide
leadership, direction and coaching across People Comms Business Partners for
all S&C/Networks entities: Strategy, X.0, Ent. Functions, AI, Industry
Networks, and Capability Network

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree, university degree or equivalent experience. MBA or postgraduate degree an advantage

+ Minimum of 15 years professional marketing and communications experience, ideally in professional services or a B2B environment

+ Minimum of 7 years of internal and executive communications experience

Preferred Qualifications

+ Demonstrated ability to design, implement and measure multi-faceted internal communications plans and programs

+ Strong communication skills, especially written communications and editorial skills, from talking points to PowerPoint presentations, video scripts to blogs and beyond. Writing samples required

+ Experience with WordPress or equivalent intranet publishing platform preferred

+ Strong marketing and communication skills and deep overall business acumen

+ Excellent experience of and work in marketing and communications

Professional Skills

+ Excellent English written and verbal communications skills with a proven ability to write compelling content for diverse channels and audiences, e.g. leadership, clients and employees

+ Resourceful approach to problem solving and ability to propose creative solutions

+ Strong project management, team leadership and development skills

+ Ability to put structure around ambiguously defined thoughts/situations

+ Experience in building credibility with a large network of key stakeholders, working in intense, deliverable and deadline-driven environment

+ Goal-oriented and business focused

+ Strong digital communications experience, including across video channels

+ Detail-oriented yet flexible and agile

+ Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines

+ Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment

+ Innovative/creative problem-solving skills

+ Ability to work autonomously and independently, yet integrate appropriately with other areas within Marketing + Communications and other areas within Accenture

+ Ability to work with and manage resources remotely
