Seabury Consultings Human Capital consulting team is the most sought-after executive compensation and labor solutions provider for airlines and also acts as the primary human capital consultancy for multiple global private equity firms. We have a track record of managing dozens of highly successful projects in the past three years managing organization transformations including restructurings, post-merger integrations, labor negotiations, project management office (PMO) and change management support.





The Human Capital team of Seabury Consulting now part of Accenture is a boutique advisory group which assists clients in aviation and other travel-related industries to optimize their human capital related activities such as workforce planning and analytics, organizational design and effectiveness, compensation plan design, labor relations, and talent search. Given our roots in aviation and travel-related industries, it is common for our engagements to take us to our Fortune 500 clients sites around the globe.





As a Senior Manager, you will lead a team of highly motivated Consultants in the sourcing, planning and execution of engagements ensuring timely, effective delivery of results, with subsequent on and cross-selling. Typical engagements involve supporting client executives with setting their overall organizational (transformation) strategy, leadership talent assessments, enhancing companywide labor planning processes and tools, union negotiation support, organizational design, change management, companywide incentive plans, detailed headcount and cost analysis, market trend research and benchmarking, and uncovering improvement initiatives while outlining implementation requirements.





As a result of the acquisition by Accenture, the candidate will also be able to combine Accenture's tools and capabilities into Seabury Consultings offerings to address the digital transformation of the employee experience and services that will play a significant role in the workforce of the future.





The Senior Manager is responsible for gaining a comprehensive understanding of client business needs and priorities, is required to effectively steer the analysis and diagnose problems and to provide clear advice and recommendations to help clients make sound business decisions and become the trusted advisor of both existing and new client accounts. During and between engagements, a strong entrepreneurial mindset and professional experience will be applied to continuously pursue new offering opportunities for Seabury Consultings Human Capital practice, the sourcing of new engagements, and internal business development efforts.





Fundamental to the role is the ability to lead and mentor team members as they progress in their career. This involves the ability to outline requirements for completing analysis, acting as the lead client contact, and mentoring junior team members on core consulting skills. Additionally, our team looks to continuously improve our offerings by challenging how we approach engagements and refining the tools we use, especially in light of the acquisition by Accenture. An effective Senior Manager will recognize where opportunities lie for the groups continuous improvement and take the lead on further developing these.





The ideal candidate will sit at the intersection of consulting and travel industry experience. They will have led high impact engagements for leading consultancies, while also having acquired deep industry experience working within the travel industry at an airline a strong plus.

**This position requires heavy travel (up to 100%) both domestically and internationally, often on short notice and for extended periods.




Basic Qualifications



+ Minimum 6 years of strategy consulting experience including airline industry engagements


+ Minimum 2 years leadership experience managing teams


+ Bachelors degree required



Preferred Qualifications



+ Must have held a mid-level or above leadership role; with a track record of successfully leading a team


+ Experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced environment


+ Innate interest in leading and mentoring team members and ensuring success for the client also aligns with skill and career development of the team


+ Experience in and affinity for developing and maintaining client relationships, especially at the mid to senior level


+ Demonstrated track record in thought leadership



Professional Skill Requirements



+ Fluency in English (additional languages are considered a plus)


+ Strong written and verbal communication skills


+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to articulate modelling requirements and logic (advanced proficiency considered a strong plus)


+ Exceptional analytical, quantitative and conceptual skills, including Excel modeling


+ Ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines while delivering a flawless product


+ Structured problem solving


+ Proactive approach to tackling challenges (including through close collaboration with team members)


+ Strong interpersonal skills
