Virtual Desktop Citrix Engineer

The Virtual Desktop Citrix Engineer will:

+ Be responsible for installing and configuring Citrix technologies including XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, and APPV, and related technology.

+ Have basic knowledge of other Citrix products like netscaler, Wanscaler, Adgesite, password manager etc

+ Manage Active Directory / domain for Citrix related systems

+ Manage and support Citrix Clusters / HA systems

+ Manage and support thin client systems like citrix and terminal services

+ Analyze system performance indicators and recommend improvement actions for Citrix based production Setup

+ Come with a good knowledge of Citrix farms, Data Store, Data collector, publishing applications, web server, load balancing, Resource Manager, License Management

+ Troubleshoot approved packages if needed

+ Troubleshoot APPSENSE

+ Manage and deploy any application SCCM / APPV onto any Citrix environment

+ Help in organization and management of the business applications that is installed on Citrix

+ Improve and adjust the Virtual Desktop System

+ Provide technical assistance for all the servers, desktops, and services that apply business

+ Take full control and accountability for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure

+ Move applications that are APPV based and Silo install base to G3

+ Work on Dev-Ops structure to get the process finalized and complete

+ Support the automation built for business app deployments.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in Citrix Technologies including XenApp, XenDesktop, Provisioning Services, AppV and related Technologies

Professional Qualifications:

+ Strong technical knowledge in design, deploy and administration

+ Strong knowledge on packaging and distribution

+ Strong knowledge on SCCM

+ Knowledge on Active Directory Design, Build & Administration would be added advantage

Preferred Skills:

+ Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization

+ Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision

+ Flexible to work in 24/7 shift
