Workstation Engineering Imaging & Provisioning Development Lead

Responsible for working with team leads to build and deliver technical solutions while adhering to architecture best practices. This team member will also conduct analysis of alternative architectures, assist with creation of architectural standards, implement processes to ensure conformance to standards, institute solution-testing criteria, and help to promote a clear and consistent business vision through technical architectures.

This role requires an advanced knowledge in Windows OS workstation architecture and will act as a secondary subject matter expert (SME) for questions concerning OS deployment, provisioning, configuration, and top tier support.

The role will also have opportunity in providing services in the areas of application development, workstation configuration, deployment & imaging, software distribution, scripting, testing, and related infrastructure technologies to Accenture.

Responsibilities include:

+ Development of new services and solutions, delivery of new products and services, support for workstation services, and process improvement.

+ Work directly with Microsoft DSEs and other vendors for input, supportability, and best practices.

+ Work collaboratively with Workstation Engineering team on future imaging efforts, deployment processes, and ongoing fleet management.

+ Travel - For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Minimum 2 years in Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for Windows Operating Systems (OS)

+ Minimum 2 years in design, implementation, and support of Windows Operating Systems (7, 8.x, 10.0.x.x) in a large Enterprise environment

+ At least 1 year experience in workstation service and support infrastructure (Configuration Manager, WADK, WDS, Webservices, Intune, on-premise/Azure AD domain join)

+ Proficient in scripting languages like VBScript, PowerShell, or .NET development with Visual Studio

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associates Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Proficient in WMI, Event logs, Windows diagnostics

+ Proficient in Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD)

+ Proficient in Group Policy (GPO)/Intune (MDM) management

+ Proficient in architectural aspects of DirectAccess (DA)/AOVPN

+ Proficient in low-level networking technologies and concepts

+ Proficient in VM creation/support/performance and NIC configuration

+ Proficient in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

+ Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

+ Ability to quickly adapt to changes and learn new skills

+ Ability to think creatively and foster innovation

+ Ability to work with a variety of teams, establish working relationships, in order to achieve team goals

+ Strong communication skills, both written and oral

+ A self-motivated individual

+ Inter-cultural awareness (principles behind working in a geographically dispersed environment across time zones and cultures)
